1) What Is NATA?

The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA Test) measures aptitude of appilcant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures aesthetic sensitivity, critical thinking, that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.

Ans: Prospective applicants / Students desirous of taking admission to First year of undergraduate course in Architecture (Bachelor of Architecture) in India take the NATA Test. Option-1) students can attempt 02 set of papers under one registration through the “ONLINE MOCKTEST” – Sitting at your Home computer( with internet connection ) or any internet Café.
Note: student can go for attempting any number of mocktests up till his/her satisfied performance.
 

Option-2) student can register for Architecture Aptitude Test Series. It consists 10/12 set of practice papers with answers & without answers.

Ans: Yes it is; as prescribed by the Council of Architecture, a statutory body under MHRD created under
the Architects Act of 1972, prescribed with the authority to regulate architectural education in India.


11) What is "NATA Sketch Evaluation series" & How many set of papers do i get in it?

 Ans: You will be given 10 set of papers containing 02 questions each for developing your sketching skills, based on Free hand Drawings skills & Theme based sketching  for the paper based part of NATA Exam. You are required to complete the series & send us as a scanned image through E-Mail ( icr_architecture@rediffmail.com) or By Post. Your submission will be evaluated & commented by Our Expertise & sent to you through E-Mail or Post correspondingly.

The sketch evaluation series are 12 in number i.e. series 1, series 2, series 3........................series 12. each series contains unique 10 set of papers as explained.

12) I am a foreign student / NRI. Can I take the test from my country of residence?

Ans: No. The candidate will have to register in India and give the test from any of the designated Test
centres of his / her choice in India. The qualification process for giving NATA stands the same.
Admission will be given by the respective admission authorities according to the rules layed down by
it for students of such category.
